Firefighters Free Victim From Car In Hackensack Crash (Photos)

One person was hospitalized following a crash in Hackensack on Thursday, Aug. 29, firefighters said.

The victim had become trapped inside of the Toyota sedan in the accident at South Prospect and Parker avenues around 1:40 p.m., the city fire department said.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle then used a hydrologic spreader and cutter to open the passenger door. Firefighters assisted with packaging of the patient for transport to Hackensack Medical Center.
